In this two-hour class, led by our head potter, James West, attendees will get an inside look at our unique process and a hands-on introduction to wheel-throwing techniques. Learn more about our philosophy towards the value of making things by hand, and hear about its origins from the clay whiz himself.
No experience necessary! These intimate workshops are intended to be an experience with no expectations but to enjoy a spin behind the wheel and have fun. Get a tour on your way in, and enjoy discounts in the gallery on your way out.
This class is limited to four attendees. Participants must be 12 years or older, and anyone under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
Students will create 1-3 cylindrical vessels on the wheel, which our team will then bisque fire, glaze, and finish in our gas kiln. Pieces will be ready for pickup approximately two weeks after the class, and attendees will be notified via email.
Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance.
