In this two-hour class attendees will get an inside look at our unique process, learn about our philosophy towards the value of making things by hand, and a hands-on introduction to wheel-throwing techniques. No experience necessary! These intimate workshops are intended to be an experience with no expectations but to enjoy a spin behind the wheel and have fun. Get a tour on your way in, and enjoy discounts in the gallery on your way out.
Students will create 1-3 cylindrical vessels on the wheel, which our team will then bisque fire, glaze, and finish in our gas kiln. Pieces will be ready for pickup approximately two to three weeks after the class, and attendees will be notified via email.
Classes are offered 11 AM to 1 PM or 2 - 4 PM. Chris teaches Tuesday - Friday and James teaches on Saturday.
Please book each spot individually for partcipants in your group. This class is limited to four attendees. Participants must be 12 years or older, and anyone under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance.
