We’re human and shit happens! Whether something breaks on its way to your home, or an accident happens at home, we’ve got you covered.
- We broke it in transit, we’ll replace it: If the piece shows up broken, send us a photo of it in the box and we will cover the cost of a replacement and shipping.
- You broke it, get a store credit: If life happens (the dog knocks it off the table, the kids drop it in the sink, etc.) we will give you a break on a replacement! Send us an email with a photo of the piece, let us know what happened and we will send you a discount code for your next order.
Dishwasher friendly:
We make this work with our hands, so you don’t have to do the work with yours! We’re with you, we don’t like handwashing dishes. Don’t hesitate to load these into the dishwasher and let it do the work!
Food Safe:
We make our glazes in house using non-toxic minerals that are 100% food safe, even after consistent use and washing. We never use lead, cadmium, barium or other harmful metals in our glaze recipes. Our clay body is formulated the same, with ingredients built to last while celebrating the beauty of the raw material.
We’re thick/durable:
No more fragile than a glass/porcelain plate: We build each piece with just enough thickness to withstand real life, while still looking great on your table and in your home.
How long will they last
Stack it in cabinets, load it in the dishwasher and pass it across the table. Like anything you love, if you treat it with care, it will last a lifetime!
* Much like glass, our ceramics can withstand extreme temperatures, but do not like temperature shock. We do not recommend putting a cold dish from the refrigerator into a hot oven, but room temperature to a preheated oven is just fine. We also recommend letting your dishes cool from the dishwasher before filling your clean cups with ice water.

I absolutely love my tea cup. I'm so glad I was able to buy one during the Seconds Sale. It's the first item of my stash that I unpacked and have been using non-stop. I have no idea what the flaw is it and even if I could see it, it wouldn't matter because Sage Valley pottery pieces are the best of the best. I bought a few other items during the sale but everything is so special that I need to bring them out slowly and incorporate them into my home with the respect they deserve.
